Our University Became a Member of the Turkish Universities Association

Our university has been accepted as a member of the Organization of Turkish States, Turkish Universities Association (TÜRKÜNİB).

Our university's TÜRKÜNİB membership application was accepted and our university was given the title of member university. Thus, OKÜ became one of the member universities of TÜRKÜNİB, which was established in 2013 to realize cooperation in the field of higher education among the member countries of the Turkic Council.

With this membership acceptance, our university has assumed an important responsibility in scientific and cultural fields by participating in a wide cooperation network; It is expected to cooperate in the field of education and training with member partner universities from countries such as Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Hungary, and to play an active role in student and personnel exchange programs.

Expressing his views on OKÜ's TÜRKÜNİB membership, our Rector Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun expressed his hope that our university's membership will be beneficial and said: "We aim to further increase the quality of our education by increasing the scientific and cultural interactions of our university. "I believe that we will take an active part in regional and international projects with TÜRKÜNİB membership," he said.
