Internationalisation Policy

Osmaniye Korkut Ata University has adopted the mission of being an educational institution that is sensitive to the environment and fundamental values, adds value to the society with the quality education, research and consultancy activities it offers to its stakeholders and continuously develops. In this direction, our university aims to develop applications and researches at international level to produce solutions to scientific and social problems; to be an internationally preferred higher education institution with the qualified education it offers. In this context, our university adopts the internationalisation quality policy in line with the following principles:

To design the scope and content of curricula in line with national and international developments,

To continuously improve foreign language education in order to encourage language learning of students and staff, to encourage participation in international mobility programmes and academic visits, to enable them to gain new knowledge and experiences and to contribute to the development of the country,

To make our university a centre of attraction in terms of international student and staff mobility, to increase the international recognition of programmes and to increase the number of units with international accreditation by using national and institutional opportunities at the highest level,

By considering geographical and academic diversity, encouraging academic staff to apply for international funds within the scope of research and development studies, to carry out joint projects and scientific research with higher education institutions with high international recognition and strong scientific capacity.

In line with these principles, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University aims to become an effective higher education institution at the global level by achieving internationalisation goals.
