As the Gerontology Department of Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, Faculty of Health Sciences, within the scope of Older Persons Week on March 18-24, we visited older adults who were receiving treatment at the Osmaniye State Hospital on March 21, 2024 and on March 22, 2024 we visited the older adults who were staying at the Osmaniye Karaçay Temporary Shelter Center after the earthquakes on February 6, 2023. Our gerontology department students chatted with the older adults and gidted them flowers. Our visits were accompanied by Dean Assistants Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya Tülüce and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hilal Kuşçu Karatepe. We would like to thank the Osmaniye Korkut Ata University Rectorate, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University Faculty of Health Sciences Dean, Osmaniye State Hospital Chief Physician and Osmaniye AFAD Karaçay Temporary Shelter Center Directorate for their support during our visits. |
