Vision
In the context of national and international relations, the translation department has been established to provide professional written and/or spoken translation in media, law, economics, literature, tourism and more, both in public and private sectors. The department aims to develop a pioneering training program for research and practice and to train professionals who can effectively use contemporary training techniques and current tool requirements.
Mission
English-Turkish written and oral translation are prepared during the four-year undergraduate program in order to meet the expectations of the entire business world. In order to meet the needs of translation activities in the field of international relations, daily life, trade, media, law and politics, the Program is to train translators who are qualified in intercultural communication and who are able to use advanced theoretical and practical knowledge.
