İlk ziyaretini Osmaniye Gazeteciler Cemiyetine yapan Üniversitemiz Rektörü Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun, burada Osmaniye Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Başkanı İsrafil Avcı tarafından karşılandı.
Göreve geldikleri günden bu yana basın mensupları ile olumlu çalışmalar yürüttüklerini ifade eden Üniversitemiz Rektörü Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun, Üniversitenin çalışmaları hakkında bilgiler verdi.
Rektörümüz Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun konuşmasında “Üniversitemiz ile ilgili her türlü gelişmeyi kamuoyuna hızlı bir şekilde duyurduğunuz için bizler sizlere teşekkür ediyoruz.” dedi.
Osmaniye Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Başkanı İsrafil Avcı ise konuşmasında Rektörümüz Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun’a ziyaretlerinden dolayı teşekkür ederek, “Osmaniye Korkut Ata Üniversitemiz ile Osmaniye Gazeteciler Cemiyeti olarak hep yakın ilişki içerisinde olduk ve olmaya da devam edeceğiz” diye konuştu.
Daha sonra Cebelibereket Gazeteciler Cemiyeti’ne de iade-i ziyarette bulunan Üniversitemiz Rektörü Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun’u Cebelibereket Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Başkan Yardımcısı Şükrü Tozluklu ve yönetim kurulu üyeleri karşıladı.
Ziyarette Üniversitemiz Rektörü Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun, Osmaniye gündemi ve üniversitenin şehirdeki potansiyeli üzerine bir süre sohbet ettikten sona Cebelibereket Gazeteciler Cemiyetinden ayrıldı.
